The One Who Didn’t – An Intense Rock Song

Alex Genadinik is back on Krannaken.com. This time it is with another heavy-hitting rock song called The One Who Didn’t. The song’s general vibe is along the same lines as the last song we reviewed from Alex, Who By Fire. It has a similar heavy folk-rock feel and is an incredible addition to an already exciting repertoire. In this post, I will explain why you need to stream and/or purchase The One Who Didn’t from your favourite music streaming and retail websites.

Who is Alex Genadinik?

Alex is an extremely successful businessman and entrepreneur who was born in Ukraine but now lives in New York, where he has spent over 20 years of his life. The success Alex has had has been hard-fought. He has never had it “easy”. Therefore, he is very respectable, and I have the pleasure, honour and privilege of saying that Alex is my friend.

If you read Alex’s resume, you will find out that he has built up many Udemy courses, which he keeps up-to-date so that they are relevant to today’s industry. Most of Alex’s courses concern business subjects; he is in the top 1% of Udemy tutors.

Alex has also written books on business, and you can find them on Amazon.

As far as Alex’s music goes, he has built up a repertoire of folk-rock music that he can be proud of. All of the music videos can be found on the Touched By A Song – Alex Genadinik Music Channel. The One Who Didn’t is the most recent addition at the time of writing.

The One Who Didn't

The One Who Didn’t: What Is The Song About?

The main inspiration from the song comes from Beethoven’s 5th Symphony. The distinct 4 note melody DA DA DA DA is a metaphor of your life knocking on your door. This is something that concerns every person when they consider what they want to do with their life. Are you wasting your life? What are your visions, hopes and dreams for the future?

The story of The One Who Didn’t follows the protagonist, who is caught between his own self-doubt. Furthermore, this person is driven almost to insanity with fear of accomplishing nothing in life.

Going back to Beethoven’s inspiration, The One Who Didn’t bears echoes of Beethoven’s famous motif throughout the song. These haunt the protagonist as they are desperate to make something of their life.

How Does The One Who Didn’t Relate To Alex?

When Alex first immigrated to America, he would be the one who was concerned about what he wanted to do in life. Alex’s family back in Ukraine would be so proud of his accomplishments. He has achieved so much in life. As any immigrant will tell you, you don’t fall on your feet in a new country. You have to work hard for what you get. Alex is a shining example of someone who has worked hard and achieved so much.
